Muir Woods

We went to Muir Woods yesterday, and saw the majestic red woods. There size is of an epic proportion.
The first thing you notice is the silence as the trees repell insects, so inturn there are no birds.
There is also chipmonks and dear which we saw the deer, but no chipmonks.

The trees are so high that it is the height of the water to the top of the golden gate bridge, around 280 feet.
They used to have one over 320 feet, but due to the heigh it blew over in the wind.
Oak trees used to be there but there was a oak desease that wiped out all of them, and around 2 million squirrals that didnt have anymore food. So they are gone. But the chipmonks remain.
